Important Information to Know

Travel Fees for Mobile Notary Services

When booking mobile notary services, a travel fee will apply to your appointment. This fee is calculated based on the total round-trip mileage and includes:

✅ A $5 flat-rate Maryland travel fee
✅ $0.70 per mile, based on the 2025 IRS standard mileage rate

Your travel fee will be provided upfront when scheduling your appointment. Contact us for an estimate based on your location.

Cancellation and No-Show Policy

To avoid cancellation fees, please adhere to the following guidelines:

For General Notary Work, cancellations must be made at least 2 hours before the scheduled appointment to avoid cancellation fees.
For Real Estate Document Services, cancellations must also be made at least 4 hours in advance to avoid a $50 cancellation fee.
Please note that if you do not show up for your scheduled appointment (No Show), it will be treated as a cancellation, and a $25 fee will apply. Additionally, you will need to reschedule your appointment.

Methods of Payments
We accept cash, most debit and credit cards, as well as Zelle. Checks should be made out to 'Heartley Notary Services LLC.'
